i have my heads off the car right now and am puttin in a built bottom end and didnt want the stock heads to go back on but after alot of research and talking to alot of guys with some serious power in 2v's im just going to keep the heads stock change the cams and thats about as good as its going to get for me unless you want to spend 1500 or so getting some worked but you can still make 550-600rwhp witch stock heads and intake

Sadly no company offers an aftermarket 4.6 heads. One of the reasons is the stockers are well made and when ported flow half decent.
Ford does have another head besides the PI, the FRPP/SVO head is the best 2V head but are expensive. They flow about the same as a mild ported PI head and when ported can flow up to 280cfm but they are expensive.

You can send your heads to any of the big places to be ported.
www.vtengines.com
www.modularpowerhouse.com
www.steenracing.com
all these will port your heads or you can just sell yours for 350-400 dollars and buy complete heads with upgraded valves/springs. Expect to gain 20-40 hp as long as you have cams/headers and free flowing intake mods etc.

I have read that the gains are really in the cam and intake mannifold. Headers will make sense at that point also.
