Default just a few couple of questions

can a 99-04 GT get low 13's, high 12's with full boltons? and what does full bolt ons equate to for a GT? also, how much do 99-04 GTs generally weigh in at?

My goal is mid to low 13's in in my 04 gt 1/4 mile time as well.

Now with that being said from what I can gather it is rather difficult to do with just bolts on's and staying N/A. I have not attempted it yet but I am in the process of figuring out what needs to be done to try to accomplish this goal.

Some of the mods that should be done are as follows, CAI, Headers, Exhaust, tuning Chip, Suspension upgrade, Prolly also should go with a ACCUFAB plenum, Wider tires then stock, etc.. DAN04COBRA said this to me since this is my goal as well "A torque converter, drag radials & LCA's with other minor suspension work alone could get your car deep into the 13's with just a set of gears!

IMO, I don't think you'd see anymore than 275RWHP being extremely optimistic with full bolt-ons minus heads/cams with an automatic. Also, cam's do NOT make a major PEAK HP/TQ difference, as say it would in a push rod engine. However, the cam swaps GREATLY flatten out the HP & TQ curve, which can greatly help your 1/4 mile goals. From information I've gathered here and from a few friends, they saw gains of 15-20RWHP throughout the power band, that's a great improvement!"

Now if your talking Full bolton's like S/C then you have another story alltogeht

you could get into the 13's with gears slicks and full exhaust probably.

but to get into the 12's im sure full bolt ons including cams headers full exhaust gears slicks UDP's, all the goodies would get u there.

ive seen 99-04 gts get into high 12s with full bolt ons and drag radials.

FULL Bolt Ons usually refers to power which would include
UDP
CAI
Headers
Midpipe
Catback
TB
Plenum
Tuner
Gears
Short Shifter(5spd)
Tranny Cooler & Shift Kit(Auto)

Other Possible Bolt On Options
Control Arms
Drag Radials
Lowering Kit

Im hopin for 13.5's with only the mods in my sig plus drag radials.... im at 13.9@101 now on 2.1 60's. so low 13's should be decently easy with gears and maybe a few more bolt ons

i went 13.9@100.84 with a 2.149 60'

thats a 60' you can cut on stock tires...

so essentially, my only mods are 4.10's, o/r H, and catback

throw in a good launch (1.8's) and yorue already in the 13.5's

then:
LT's, pulleys, t/b plenum, intake, DR's with that good launch, and I would think 13 flat is possible

heads/cams will be even better if you can drive

oh ok cool. because whenever i get my GT (prayin for december) i just wanna do bolt ons and suspension mods and be good enough for a low 13 sec car. i mean i have no need for a deep 12 high 11 GT. but i know the 2v engine isnt the greatest but thats not so bad if i can pull a very high 12 low 13 with bolt ons and a good driver mod. dont the LS1 fbodies pull low 13's high 12s stock? a 260ishrwhp GT can really be even with a 300rwhp LS1?
