I just got my prochamber and it came with a funnel shaped sleeve. What is this for and what side does this go on?How is this installed?

Yeah, I just got one too. I have a 2000 GT and I didn't need it. I think it is for aftermarket headers, but I could be wrong.

It goes on the drivers side. I needed it with my MAC H. We tried running it without it and it leaked so we put it on and its fine. I`m running the stock manifold.

The drivers side header sprostang? Hey, I finally got mine on, it cost me $70 to get new studs on both headers b/c of that rounded nut incident. But it's on and I like the sound. But it could be leaking cause there's like a tic sound when it's cold it seems. I haven't really checked it out all that close. I ended up installing it myself. Wasn't hard at all, but I could see the difficulty with that passenger side header nut.

How does this fit? Is the widest part pushed into the ball and socket connection?

The flat side of the Prochamber went on the passenger side. And the other pipe had the ball/socket connection.

I'm talking about how the sleeve fits on the pipe.

Sorry man, I didn't use it, but I would imagine the curved end goes into the prochamber side, and the flat goes on the manifold side. I'm wondering now if I need it? Anyone out there know if I should have used the extra sleeve on a 2000 GT??

The sleeve is supposed to be used for the 99/01 cobras. Otherwise, you should not need it on the GT.

Why are the cobra's different Jiggy_One? Do they use the ball/socket on both manifolds/headers instead of just one side?
