Default Shorties vs. LT's?

FRPP stainless shorties or BBK LT's? On a stock internal 4.6L motor, would one really shine above the other? what kind of performance difference are we talking? (assuming full exhaust w/o cats, only things different being the headers.)

Also, odd question, but are the blocker rings and syncro backings in the TR3650 carbon fiber or paper?

Could be me. I live in California, and I have to swap mine out every time I get a smog check.

as far as the two go i really think that l/t's compared to shorties, doesnt make a huge difference stock....now when u go with performance heads and cams, bigger pistons, or longer stroke then yes they give more advantage over shorties, but as far as stock they wont do much more than shorties, a little but not massive

I put LTs on my 2000 GT and it was a B****. The directions from Pace Setter said remove the steering shaft and starter and that is it. wrong. I wound up putting it on a flat bed and hauling it a few hundred miles to my wifes fathers shop where he has a lift and ended up unbolting the engine mounts and jacking the motor up just to fit the darn things in. Then trying to put all the bolts back in and tighten them was a nightmare. I will say It was an experience that I am glad I did but will never do again. The end result though was well worth it.
