this is what im doing it should be done in about a week or so but i would put it up against any short block you buy off the internet but it cost me half the price to build but i do say it was a pain in the *** and took alot of time to figure out where to take my block to be built and not to mention its about a hour drive away
budget build

This seems to be a great buy.

thats about the standard sale price for a stock iron 4.6 block from ford. Can probably buy it at your local Ford dealership (parts dept) for the same price and save on shipping costs.

I had my motor built by promar engines here in jersey. I got forged cobra crank, eagle forged rods, manley forged and dished pistons, and arp bolts. Also got ported and polished pi heads, intake and aluminum flyweel, all on a stock block for 6820.00 plus tax installed. I had them put a new water pump, and motor mounts put on also and it was installed in 5 days.

Damn that's a great price.

But just so no one gets confused. Fully machined does NOT mean it's prepped for installing any kind of rotating assembly.
Off topic but where can I see more pics of ur car? I want to see how the rims look on that color. Nice ride btw

how much do you guys think it would cost to get a built bottom end?
$3677.00(shipping is $200.00) but I went to MI and picked up the engine myself.

I know I just bought one from vtengines.com Block is capable of up to 700hp with the forged internals.
