Default PAINTING ?!?!?!

I want to paint my car myself is it as big of a job as they tell me..i know its a bigggggggggggggg job but cant i actually do it myself without messing it up?

sure you could do it yourself but it would look like crap... this is one of those things where you gotta leave it to the professionals, and pay them what they want.

If you keep an even spray and watch out for orange peal it is attainable

Me and a buddy painted his 93 gt last year and it turned out great. We stripped it inside and out (we changed the color from red to blue), did all the body work, primed it, wet sanded the primer, Sprayed the color(5 coats), sprayed the silver stripes, cleared it and wet sanded it and polished it all in about 3 weeks in his garage. We knew what we were doing and had all the equipment to do it. It is a big project and you can mess it up but it is just paint which can be fixed.

U can do it yourself, but the question is if you have ever had any experience in painting/body work? If you havent you should pay somebody to do it. Painting is something that takes talent, or a lot of practice. It is very easy to put runs/orange peel/light and dark spots in paint. Pay someone is my suggestion. Does your car need painted? or do you just want a different color?
