99/01 cobra Procharged???
I want some feed back on the stage II 99/01 procharger kits on the stock block. Also I have a T-56 tranny so I was wondering about the gears if I decide to go with the S/C 3:73, 4:10, 4:30. I want reliability cause I drive it everday but I want to be able to pull on vette's if I half to. I have 50,000 miles on it and the engine is healthy. All my mods are listed in my signiture. Anybody with a Supercharged 99/01 cobra, or anybody with knowlege on this subject would be a great help. (I know they don't have forged pistons and rods) Thanks

I'd go with the 3.73's. I have the procharger on a GT, it's the stage 1 though. Basically stage II includes the 3-core intercooler is the only major difference I believe. I've got the 2-core.
Many are gonna say go with 4.10, but in general you'll be shifting sooner not getting the full rpm range needed for your SC.
Now if you have an auto then go with 4.10, otherwise stay with 3.73 if you have the manual.

The Procharger on a 99/01 Cobra is a good set up IMO.. I'm not sure if its the best but its the set up I have and it seems to work ok for me.. I installed 4.10s before I decided to go with the S/C so I am stuck with them.. They make the car pull really hard but I run out of gear at 115 MPH.. Which kinda stinks because I see lots of races go up to 140 or more.. I've posted some videos of cars I raced over the summer.. Some were good and some were just OK.. The biggest thing I can suggest are DRs.. I didn't have them when I raced YellowCobra and it hurt me alot..

I also raced an 04 Cobra (pulley, exhaust, cold air intake and tune which dyno'd @ 465).. From a dig we were DEAD EVEN up to about 90 MPH.. I then started to pull on him up to 115 MPH but I ran out of gear, as I explained above.. Both this 04 and I are really close in HP but I needed those gears to keep up with him because of that torque monster type of blower he has..

just in case some of the noobs are thinking 115 is your top speed with 4.10's, he means in 4th gear. i'm tired of of people saying " don't get 4.10's because you can't go faster than 112-115"
to the original poster, i would probably go with 3.90's at the most since the t-56 has slightly taller ratios

nice videos twig, how fast does the the boost take to get up to the max(10 psi right???) and what RPM does it start boosting. Also so how long have you had it on your car?? Do you drive it everyday??
