Yeah, the whole design is pretty crappy. I had to use a crazy amount of tape to make it holddown properly.

the wing quality as it comes sucks it takes a lot of time for a body shop to sand prep then paint not to mention it flexs constantly with the change in temp. When you bring it to a body shop they shave what needs to be taken off and wide the wholes on the lid to compensate for the sides not to rub. I also added to screws to the upper part of the bolt wholes for more strength. Double sided tape sucks you have to use like a permanent expoxy. I had to bring mine back 2 time sto body shop to have them redo the taping and still now its comin apart at bottom back so I have to bring it back. It cost me alittle over 400 all said in done with it on the car. Def a pain in the *** but it looks good in the end

Yeah, thats how they are. I sold mine cause I didnt want to deal with it. I got the entire saleen kit and ended up only installing the front bumper and side skirts. The whole thing is made of that thick, heavy, flimsy *** urethane. Although it does hold up well in small fender benders. Getting everything to fit correctly is a major PITA

Thanks for all the quick replies and good info. I had absolutely no idea it was gonna be like this when i ordered it.[&:] Im kinda pissed casue i think if i woulda known how much of a PITA it was gonna be i wouldnt have bought it but now that i have it i might as well put it on. Sitnlopro99gt yours looks awesome all finished, its after i saw a pic of yours that i bought mine. So i was thinking that i would just have it painted black like the stock spoiler so i could keep the torch red/black theme going. What do you all think? Also, are there any other things i need to know when putting it on? I know i need some sort of urethane glue and need to make the holes a lil bigger in the trunk. Anything else? Thanks for all the input and let me know what you think of me painting it black instead of red.
