Problem is with the thicker head gasket timing becomes an issue.

Did the guy who built it Know you were running a SC? What gives, all blown engines use dished pistons to provide more combustion space. More room, more fuel/air cram=more power.

You can use a thicker head gasket to drop your compression ratio if your reall worried about upping your boost. If you keep it at that compression you will need to run race fuel if you want to up the boost. With 10:1 you should be running 93 octane. Why did your engine guy say you can't run cams?
He has a blower. More than likely, hes already running 93 octane. You can run a thicker head gasket, but timing can become an issue. Plus, it doesnt lower the compression that much.

I had heard or thought they made slightly thicker head gaskets to slightly lower the compression ratio if needed. You might get it down to 9.8:1??

The thicker head gasket isn't the best solution but it is better then the cost of the rebuild. Their will be no timing issue with a thicker head gasket only if you shave the head to try to raise compression. Remember their are tentioners that can go in but can not push out more.

With a thicker head gasket the heads would be sitting higher. Correct me if I am wrong, but wouldn't the timing chains be spaning a larger distance changing their revolutions. It just seems like it would affect they way you time the engine.

Just dump the blower and get a nice size shot of nitrous for it. Nitrous loves compression. Probably the easiest thing to do without have to crack the whole motor open or blow it up running to much boost.

This motor as is will be in the 450hp range But i could of been up to 500hp if the right dam pistons were in it. Motor cost almost 8k
