Default what should i do?

i have always wondered if i should get a supercharger first or do all the other things i.e. new exhaust, cold air, headers, etc...first. what do yall think would be the better route to take? the reason why im asking is that ive noticed that some s/c kits some with some things like cold air intake and i dont want to buy two cold air intakes. also what is the best s/c or turbo kit i can find? and what kind of mpg do you get with a s/c? i have a completly stock '99 4.6 auto.

Go big first! You will see more gains with the blower than with full boltons. Plus after the blower, the other mods will produce higher gains.

I agree super charge.
You might want to add gears too.

I just got 373 gears for my car (5 speed) you will see a lot of different opinions on the ratio in these forums.
As far as MPG havent put much thought or care in my fuel enconmy.
I would do some reading in these forums there is a lot of good information and a lot of your questions already answered..
have fun with your mustang

If you are more patient, you could do a forged rotating assembly swap along with a cam install and head port/polish for about $3000 including parts + labor. Then it will be ready for an extreme blower setup that is more powerful than the conservative 8-10lbs of boost that is used by many people on stock engines. But when you choose the pistons, you should probably get the dished ones to lower the compression.
