Default H OR X PIPE?

hey guys well ok ive had it with my friggin straight pipes

im looking for a high flow system with cats on it to pass emisions..

what is better for hp x or h and what are some good brands

Both gains wont be noticeable, go with what you think sounds better.

I like my mac h pipe, no real complaints. And with a catted mid pipe you will pass emissions.

i'm partial to SLP catted X-pipe, SLP lmII cat back system. like 03 said whatever sounds better to you.

SLP would be louder.

To really break it down... H-Pipe is better for low end torque, X-Pipe is better for high end HP, though they both have similar gains. It usually comes down to what type of sound you like. The H is a lower throaty tone, and the X is more raspy.
