Is it ok to use 10w30 oil in our engines? the auto stores around my way always have good deals on it. i usually use 5w30, just wondering if 10w30 would be to heavy?

Go with whats recomended for the car which SHould be 5w-30 get a good synthetic oil with a good filter and ur golden

Stick with the 5w-30 synthetic your car likes best.

it would be fine with either just get whats on sale or whatever. you won't notice any difference

I've heard the oil pumps in 4.6's get weaker after they a few miles on them... they quit oiling 4 and 8 from what I hear.. I've heard that going to a heavier oil is helpfull to prevent this problem, plus it quitens down the motors somewhat....

when you say they quit oiling 4 and 8 you mean #4 cylinder and #8 cylinder?
