Default New 4.10s Installed

Well I got my car back from the shop after getting the 4.10s installed and all I have to say is HOLY ****IN ****! This is by far the best mod I have done performance wise. I ****ing love it! These gears really woke my car up. I have learn to shift faster now, since I hit the rev limiter a couple of times, but they are f'in saweet! Just had to let you all know!

good to hear man, now just think if you had bought 3.73's..... you'd be ... holy f***ing s*** these are great, but not really know what the 4.10's were like

I wonder what you'd cross the 1320 mark in regards to RPM's... probably won't matter though since Cobras have a higher redline anyways[]

Jones, Would you have gone 4.30 or you think 4.10 is perfect? I'm still up in the air about mine. No S/C here though.. yet.

hey sprostang how do the 4.10s fell on a GT. I was about to buy some gears but people tell me that the 3.90 and 4.10 are too much for the mustang gt. is that true?? they also said that i would be losing 1/4 time due to shifting too much

ur not gonna loose time due to shifting ull actually gain a few 0.100s due to the increased acceleration

Don't ever take advice from those people, they do not know what they are talking about. Adding some lower gears will allow the car to accelerate much faster. Yes you will shift one more time in the 1/4 mile, but you will get to the end much faster, provided you can get traction.

Actually I love my 4.10`s, now I want 4.30`s..... 4.10`s are not too much for a N/A car. You`ll be fine in the 1/4.
