I'd love a full motor swap for a PI motor. All I'd need is a nice stall, shift kit and tranny cooelr and I'd have a mean mid-to-low 13 second N/A SN95.

Fixed the temp sensor problems........ I went to auto-ho and they didnt have anything. Went to Kragen! nothin! SO I finally went to HomeDepot and found a 3/8 plumbers threaded T fitting. I borred out the straight through and treaded in my sensor. Then I cut my small heater line and spliced in the T. Almost a perfect fit... a couple of clams and some wire to extend my sensor and it's done. no over heating, no codes, and a working gauge!!!

This swap has been a cool thing and the worst thing... Now I have to get it tunned. For some reason I used a 1/4 tank of gas to go 36 miles! I'll post this question later! But will my 96 tune affect my gas mileage that much?

thanks to everyone who helped out....

Mike

I spent 800 on the motor from a club member and I have to sell the 99 trans, tunner and my motor and give it to the guy i bought it from. The agreed price was 1600 but what ever I can sell Ill just give to him to square it up....
