Default SCT Tuner Question

Does anyone know how to turn off the 02 sensors and traction control with the SCT Tuner? I can't seem to figure it out, do I need to do it with the computer hookup? Thanks!

Just keep scrolling thru menus & you will find it. Cant see how you could miss it. No yo dont need the comp hookup. Use the up & down arrows to scroll. Its 12:30 here now. If I remember ill check mine when i get up. PM me if you like to remind me.

You can't turn off T/C w/ your tuner. I was under the impression that you could when I bought mine but found out after that you could'nt.

yes you can!!!!. I did it when I put on my exhaust. I got an 02 error code because sensor wires wernt long enough & i turned off 02 sensors until i got my harness extension. I also dont have a traction control button tositch TC on & off & I used tuner to turn it on to see what it was like.

Can you help me with this? Where did you purchase your tuner from? Also, would the dealers be able to disable them features?

Im on my way out @ this moment, cant find my instruction manuel. Plug it in to your car & start moving down thru menu & hitting select w/o changing any thing & you should be able to find the menu option. I am taking my tuner w/ me & I will go thru it when I get a few mins.

You have to start to program your car. plug tuner into port. scroll down to "program vehicle" option. Then start going thru menu, choosing your year & engine 1st then selecting other options either changing or just use select to skip over the option & you will eventually come to the 02 sensor & traction control options. For the stuff you dont want to change just use select w/o changing option. Hope this helps.
