throttle body help
i installed an accufab 70mm tb with intake plenum today and my tps is not correct. i have the instructions on the voltage but it got kinda dark and i was tired so i left it how it was. now it idles @ 2000. if i dont get this fixed right away are there any serious problems that could come up. Also is there anyone in socal (the valley) who has experience in installing these and could possibly help? thanks.

RE: throttle body help
I would remove the TPS and get it back on correctly. On my '99 it only went on one way correctly. There is no adjustment with the mounting screws as thwey have no slots in which to change the position of the TPS. Perhaps you have the TPS tab on the wrong side of the metal piece behind the TPS on the TB?
I would remove it and CAREFULLY replace it and watch how it goes on ...actually watch where it is positioned behind the TPS when you remove it and put it back on in a different position as I believe you have it on the wrong side of the metal piece on the TB. Hope you get it corrected today! mark

RE: throttle body help
what should my idle be at? i played around with it and i got it down to 1500 but i'm pretty sure that it's still too high.
does anybody know any good shops in socal to get work done i.e. gears, cams, etc. thanks.
