Default stall ?'s

i just ordered 4.10s getting them installed tomorrow and i was wondering whats a good stall converter and a good rpm to get for my mods and how hard is it to put on

A torque converter isnt hard to put on. The hard part is getting to the TC. Basically, you have to drop the tranny, pull the old one off and then put the new one on.

I'd say at least a 2800-3200 rpm stall. Somewhere in that range should suit you well.

I just got a 2000-2500 stall to go into mine. I'm waiting on getting some 4.10s to go into it. I'm definitely not the authority on converters though. There are alot of guys on here that will tell you to go higher as far as the stall though. I guess it depends on what your plans for the stang are. I don't race on the track (yet) and do a bit of highway driving so I think mine is good for my needs.
