Default Quick question

Has anyone removed the screen from a stock GT before the MAF? So there is an open hole rather than a restricted screen in the way?

Just checking to see if anyone else jsut removes that. I didn't yet cause I wanted to hear from you guys.

It'll screw up your computer without the screen. I haven't actually done this, but have read enough to know that it's something you don't want to do.

Boy am I glad I read this I almost did this when I put my CAI on. WHEW!!! That was a close one.

I have heard of people doing this though. I see the aftermarket ones you buy come without a screen. Whats the deal?
