Gotcha.. In fact, from what I know, using the Leaded stuff can cause fires..
I forgot about O2's..
Now, Alcohol.. That's something that may require different fuel systems...

leaded fuel will not cause a fire anymore than regular fuel. All lead does is to help raise octane and act as a lubrcant and cushion on the valves. Alcohol will require some changes in the fuel system to run.

Na it just will clog the converter. I think you would notice how terrible the car was running long before it was clogged bad enough to cause a fire. I would hope so anyways

Okay.. It makes all sorts of sense now...
In fact I want to use some Lead Additive every few tanks next year on the new engine to make sure that everything stays copasetic..
I'd say it's even better for your engine that Alcohol, when it comes to Octane stabilization..
