Hey! This is my first post. I have a question about my Mustang. I'm wondering if I should keep it...or more specifically if I'm headed for problems??

96 GT Conv (Black on Black)
Fully loaded (leather, MACH, etc.)
Auto trans
17" Cobra rims
Mods - K&N , Lightbar
147K miles

I bought this brand new and I've kept up with all the maint. I haven't had any major work done on it. It runs pretty good. The only problems I see is I leak min. amounts of oil & trans fluid, I burn oil (have to add about a quart every 2 months or so), and my car vibrates every once in awhile at my shifter when I'm stopped at a light. I usually have to put it into neutral and it stops. A couple of years ago my trans vibrated at around 50mph, but it stopped after I had a trans flush at the dealer.

I've never had a GT with this many miles, so I was concerned that once I hit 150K or so that I'd start having some major problems. My car still looks awesome (when clean!), and it's paid off so I'd love to keep it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

if you properly maintain it, im sure it will keep on trucking. 4.6's see well over 200k without a prob. are you looking for performance options tho?
