weather? temp? quality of air? i know that in SoCal the air sucks as compared to other places, which will minorly effect that stuff...other than that if its hot as ball$ (i love that phrase btw) your car lags like hell. my friends brother with a honda accord v6 actually loses power mid summer here in chicago with his cai, dyno proven. but thats a honda, those things just suck ***.

warm air, bad quality gas? cold dense air seems
to be the best for our stangs....

Cold air always seems to be a positive factor

My car feels slow as hell when it's hot out too. I prefer to avoid driving in those times of day, it just makes me sad.

I drove mine all summer in the heat. Then last weekend I took her for a 100 mile drive on backroads in IL and WI and it loved the cooler weather (about 40-65 degrees). The stang stayed nice and cool. I couldnt feel any heat coming up from the trans and the fan didnt kick into super-fast speed at all. It just seemed happier!

Tell me about it..... I did a round trip..... From Killeen Texas to Philadelphia PA and back!!!! Not including all the driving I did in Philadelphia! I did a total of 2,500 miles in a matter of 2 Weeks right in the middle of summer! Man that didn't feel good. I tell ya, she felt like an old lady after it all finished. I didn't even touch her for the rest of the month!

I know around here when it is cloudy and REALLY humid, my car feels like a v6. Then when it is crisp it runs like a champ. You cai might need cleaned too, that can add a little lag.
