New BBK 2V intake manifold...
just got this months issue of 5.0 mustang & SF & seen that BBK is releasing it before this year is over ( page 164 ). they didn't give any dyno gain's , price or anything . I was just wondering if anyone else has heard anything ??

would there be a considerable gain for some1 with cai/tb/p and full exhaust but no fi?
my buddy has a 2000 Gt and he has wanted to get this for a while, not specificaly the bbk one tho,
we always argue over the benifits of this

yeah its the last step for full bolt on. 4.6 people forget that the intake manifold is a bolt on. and yes you would pick up HP throught the middle of the power band. thats how my cobra is so fast is because the big bore stroker make insane power REALLY quick. when we first built the motor. just the big bore storker stock heads and cams. it only made 30 more hp but made 200 throughout the middle of the powerband. this motor went 12.30 @112 mph in a 3800 lbs 99 cobra convedrtable with no suspension work and no bolt ons. not even an offroad x pipe. now since ive goten ahold of the motor it has ported 03 cobra heads, custom high lift stroker cams. ($1200 for the cams $3000 for the trail and error of developing a custom cam) and a ported FR500 intake with the butterfly valves romoved and now its making 442whp and 431 ftlbs of trq. but it makes 350hp at 2800 rpms. so power through the middle is where you want it for a road race or DD car.

you wanna know something i just realized. i am making more power at 3000 rpm than Code3GT is making at peak. 4V for the win.
