Default sub-frame connectors

I was just wondering what barnd all of you use, i was looking at americanmuscle.com and they have steeda and maximum motorsports bolt on connectors, and then the powder coated weld in ones which I'm guessing is their own brand. The weld in connectors are about 30 bucks cheaper than the other too, so is it really worth it to spend the extra money for the steeda's or maximum motorsports?

Maximum Motorsports full length welded is the way to go. Spend the extra money for the quality; its only $30.

where would you take these to get them installed a performance shop? Im just asking because most of the muffler shop around here are kind of **** about anything that is different to them.

Well, we did mine on my buddy's lift in his garage. My other friend who has a dyno shop also has a certified welder who works for him, so those are my options. I wish I had something more to tell ya.

I've only used Maximum Motorsports full length weld-ins and will make it my first mod on any future performance car.

I had a shop do it for me.

full length weld in connectors are best, any muffler shop can do the work.

i used the ford racing full length subframes with the torque box plates. at the time they were the cheapest. they are good, but don't come painted or galvanized.

I have the cheaper ones and they are fine!

not to hijack, but what is the difference in feeling and handling before and after sfcs are installed? Huge improvement or something that could be lower on the list of to-dos?

I had my SFC's installed the same time as my ProCharger. I could take turns at full throttle WITH the blower that I could not take full throttle when N/A and no SFC's. The difference was night and day with my car.

If I ever get another Mustang, I would do gears and SFC's before anything else.
