Yeah I might as well replace all of those especially since I work at a shop now. But any suggestions on an after market clutch?

if the clutch is reving and you are not gaining speed then you have a failing clutch. the 2000 tranny is different from the 2002. the 2000 is a lot heavier clutch and not as responsive. the 2000 is a t-45 and the 2002 is a tremec. if you are shaking or vibrating then check your tranny mounts. i had a 97 snap on me ant it felt like my car was a carnival ride.

Yeah I know the differences in the tranny's. Yeah I get on it and no speed increase at all and it just shudders. Even my exhaust sounds different when I drive. I'm gonna get it looked at tomorrow.

My buddy has a 98 gt and b4 he replaced the clutch it was stiff man. Mine was new and it was much softer than his...still stiffer that most cars. My friend has this old civic not hooked up just her everyday car and i drove it......the clutch is sooooooo soft....i had to life my foot up b/c on my car it kinda helps ur foot up...on hers it didnt at all.......so i think stangs r stiffer than most cars

Yeah I am replacing the stock clutch anyway... any suggestions on what I should go with? I was thinking King Cobra or Spec stage 1.
