adjusting clutch
I am about to be finished putting a King Cobra clutch in my car. I just need to put the exhaust and driveshaft in. I pushed on the clutch and there is alot of play in it, and gets stiff at the last 2 inches of petal range. I know its a self ajusting clutch but I need to adjust it more. How do I adjust it since the new clutch is in?

RE: adjusting clutch
dont adjust it yet
leave at least 2 inches of play
once the clutch wears down it will raise on its own.
If you adjust tight it will sit on the TOB and wear it down..... Thats what my mechanic told me because i had king cobra installed and it engaged an inch from the floor
did you replace the quadrant?

RE: adjusting clutch
depends on what kind of adjuster you have?
behind dust cover?
in firewall?
factory is adjusted just by pulling pedal towards you...
if inside dust cover you just adjust the bolts until your satisfied.
I have never used a firewall adjuster so i could not tell you.
