i got a 04 mustang gt and the person i bought it from had aftermarket long tube headers on it and flowmasters.

im now having a problem with the check engine light... i hate this light... and im trying to get it fixed now and i spend 400 dollars trying to get it fixed but its just not working... i got o2 simulaters put on it and the light still keeps poping up... then they told me to replace the o2 sensor and i did....2 days later the check engine light comes on again! then they told me to buy a secondary passanger rear o2 senor and they put that on yesterday and now guess what ? its on again.... does anybody know what the heck is the problem??? plz help me i been doing this over almost 2 months now trying to fix this thing. thanks.....

do you still have the long tube headers on the car. If you do then you prob do not have any cats. If you don't have cats then you just wasted 400 dollars having some guy try to fix your car without looking under it. You can erase the code but it will come back after another 100 miles or so.

Get a tuner and shut off the rear 02 sensors that way. SCT all the way. You could have spent your $400 on that and got your money's worth.

If he has long tubes with no cats and the tuner only turns off the two rear cats so he is still screwed - right ? [&o]
