Default For those that have the MGW short throw...

Is it worth it over your stock shifter or any other aftermarket shifter that you've tried? I'm gettin ready to get one for my cobra and just wanted some more reassurance on how everyone is faring with them. This seems to be a fairly easy install according to some so I hope that will remain true for me as well. Also, has anyone tried the shifter gaskets from cobrabob's on here? I've heard good things from others over on svtp.

The shifter is very easy to install, and I can say that 90% of the Cobra owners have one. I have a steeda tri-ax until I can find someone to trade for a MGW. I had one on my GT, and I loved it!!!

a shifter should be one of the very first mods, and MGW is the best. very easy install.

The MGW was prob the best 160 dollars I've spent on my car yet!

my in laws have them in both of thier saleen cobra's (second being put in as we speak) and have convinced me to go with it in my GT. Mach already had the pro so figure I'll just leave it. Heard nothing but good things about MGW.

Is it just a shorter throw? How does it feel different otherwise?

I've got the MGW with the orange handle and I love it, very easy install and great instructions. Everyone that has tried it says it feels better than the tri-ax. Essential mod
