IMO, the stock motorcraft is the best wet cell battery you can get. I have the optima red top and it has been great for the time ive had it. If I were you though, id definately go for one of those lightweight, small, dry cell batteries though. You can get them for like $75 and they only weigh around 11lbs. The stock battery has to weigh a good 30-35 pounds. You can get the lightweight one and I promise youll feel a difference in better braking and front end nose dive around the corners.

Go red top instead of yellow. Yellow is a deep cycle battery and you would only need that if you have a large system in the car. The red has a longer warranty and more CCA.
