Default What is this part called?

My car is leaking oil from there and i was told i may need to replace that part. i wasn't told the exact name of the part and i need to know the name of it so i can buy it. as you can see it is under the intake hose and the "valve" itself has a hose attached to it. anybody know what it is called?

Hard with your pic, but looks like that is in the top of the valve cover, correct? If it is and it's a valve, then its a PCV valve. They are cheap and easy to replace. Local auto parts stores will carry them.

Try a search online. If you can't find it online, then it is a dealer only part.

Do not go to the dealership for a PCV valve. GO to Autozone or Advance. probably like $4. It may b worth spending some cash on a Haynes manuel too.

I know on my 03, that Valve does not come out, you literally would have to break it to make it come out. I discovered this installing my Vortech kit. If you are leaking oil from it then you should get some silicone and seal the edges. However, if it comes out without hassle then yes, as others mentioned its your PCV valve and Autozone should have one for cheap.
