damn passenger side manifold bolt.

RE: damn passenger side manifold bolt.
I used a 1/2" drive breaker bar, 10" extension, and a deep socket. I sprayed WD-40 on it 30 minutes prior. I replaced mid pipe and cat back by my self in under 3 hours. If not for the bad instructions on the magnaflow cat back, I would have finished in about 2 hr, 15 min.

I had the same problem with that same side. The impact wrench did nothing. We would just use it till it ran outta air and have to wait till the compressor filled up about a dozen times. My dad and I said heck with it and used a swivel, impact socket, extension, breaker bar,and half of the jack handle, and within 2 minutes it was off.

I have finally given up. this morning I put everything back together except the one passenger side bolt I did get off but couldnt get it back off. When i start it up, it leaks of course. I'm going to take it to a muffler shop and let them mess with it. How much should a pay to have it put on? Also is it ok to drive around for a few days with a nasty exhaust leak? It sounds normal at idle but once you rev it, it sounds like crap. It also sounds horrible right when you turn it off. ****

I had the same thing happen to me..and i was shocked when the impact would not take it off.
So i tried something a old man told me. I put some break fluid on it and gave it about 30 mins and tried a breaker bar and it worked.
I was thinking the old man was a nut but hell i guess not.
