RE: clutch slack?
How much slack are we talking about. stock clutch cable and clutch?
The stock clutch cable is auto adjusting. It might just be loosing the adjustement and taking time to re-adjust its self. If it does it again after powershifting, pull up on the clutch, and then push it to the floor, and do that twice. Might just be time for a new one.
Never heard of it doing that, but theres always a first for everything.
Here's some spots you can check. doesnt deal with the adjustment but other stuff that can be looked at
Just look where the cable goes through the dash, and see if its in the middle of the whole goin into the firewall. also get under the car and on the behousing on the drivers side there should be what looks like retangular box, with one bolt holding it. take that bolt out and that plate will slide back and off. The cable going in the center there also. also check and make sure everything is tight. How about the engine bay where the. there is a plate that holds the clutch cable to the firewall. that still got the screws in it. Also one other thing, when your under the dash, look at the clutch quadrant and see how that is.
