No it's not for convertibles. Why in the world would you have a targa top on a convertible ? Hello?? lol doesn't make since.

Right because there is none. If there is back it up. If you're talking about the same company that makes the one for the coupe here is what it says. Maybe you've got it mixed up.
The Ironman Targa modification effectively makes your coupe a convertible and safety guidelines for convertibles apply.
Which is stating IF you do the targa top on your COUPE, to make it LOOK like a convertible, you need to follow the saftey guidelines that the convertibles use, like subframe connectors.
Now if it's another company, then that's to be seen.

yea i think its ****in awesome... and after i do all my performance upgrades and suspension upgrades... ill probably do that with the rest of my exterior upgrades cuz i love targa

yea i think its ****in awesome because if you want a coupe you can just latch em on and you basically have a coupe and if you want a some breeze just unlatch em and your set for a sunny day :] ... and after i do all my performance upgrades and suspension upgrades... ill probably do that with the rest of my exterior upgrades cuz i love targas... especially on supras

Stang2000, droptop is right. Its an attatchable piece that makes it look like a coupe. Think of it as a tonneau cover for the entire roof of a vert. I personally think its look out of place and a bit goofy, but there is one out there.

I had thought about that, but I've never seen it, only heard about it before. But with me, until I get proof of something that exists, I shrug it off. That's just me. It might have been some kind of option a while back and is no longer available, maybe that's why no one can provide a link. No biggy. I'm out, time for bed.
