Cat converters are on the mid-pipe, not the cat back.

The cats in the bassani x pipe are shot or the stock ones are shot? If the bassani is shot then you need to buy a new x pipe to because the cats are not part of a cat back system.

I'll be the first to tell you that I am no expert at the effectiveness of welding cat's in but I would think that it would just be better to get a new x-pipe with the cats already on.

high flow is better then traditional cats.

You have 2 options, you can either cut and weld the new cat's into the Bassani X-pipe set-up, or you can get a cat-back system that includes the cats. I already have the x-pipe and hi-flow cats on my GT and my cat's are bad, so I'm fixing to cut and weld new one's in and build my own custom cat-back system. Just make sure if you do this you use HI-FLOW cats or you just screwed the entire purpose of having a performance exhaust.

I may be retarded or not reading this right........ but the cats are gonna be on your midpipe, so how can u have shot stock cats, when u dont have a stock midpipe, im not sure if im missing something here. If ur cats are shot there on ur bassani midpipe so just get a new mid pipe.......

What are you talking about? If you have an off road X pipe on your car then you don't have the stock cats on it or any cats for that matter. Maybe you aren't saying it right or I'm reading something wrong?

first of all you dont need cats ok special ed. if you really want to get cats fine your car will be slow if your worried about emissions then just get a SCT tuners can call it a day make your car more powerful an not cats. use your brain. and secondly the cats are on your X or H-pipe what ever you had on the car. so if you got a new Xpipe then you prob dont have cats or if your do then they are one the X-pipe an all the muffler shop would have to do is weld in new cats.
