Your wasting your money on a MAF on ur car, stock is fine unless u have FI, and half the time the stock MAF is still sufficent with a blower
+1 million

So many ppl go and buy a lightning MAF when they are making less than 450 hp even with a blower. Its a waste.

On a side note unless you're doing forced induction you dont need the 24#ers. My car came with them when i got it. The guy (who owned it previously) redid the fuel system (new pump, rails, injectors) and he threw on 24#ers. Idk why but i wont complain.
The 90mm is not a waste on almost any FI application on our cars.

There is a reason the stock vortech kit that comes at even 6 PSI has much larger tubing (intake) than the stock MAF.

Hell, look at the powerpipe kits. All that does is run from the blower to the MAF, and its much much larger than the stock MAF. Gains of 1-2 PSI and plenty of horsepower are typical, with no other changes.

I don't see any reason that anyone running FI is running a stock maf. Couple hundred bucks and you gain 10/15 whp.
