idk why you want to track a vert???...you're only hurting yourself by starting out with a weaker platform...and the solid axle is used just as often on mustangs that road race...and how is the cobra interior more comfortable? they have the same seats except the machs have the ribbed center section and the cobras have faux suede

I test drove a Mach 1 when I was looking to buy. It was yellow with flowmasters and x pipe. If I had known then what I know now, I would have totally gone for it. I'm just not a fan of yellow (even that being said, I'd take a yellow one now over my stock gt).

If your lookin for a strip car... then the Mach 1 is the winner. Overall, I think these two cars are fairly equal. But the Cobra will at least be 2 years older than any Mach 1 on the road. The shaker scoop is unique and if you wanted to SC it, you could always go with a Vortech or something. I vote for the Mach 1 as the winner, but really either car is gonna be a good choice.

hmmmm.....lemme think for a sec...oh yeah, thinkin mach 
Essentially from all I studied before buying the mach i got a cobra without a s/c and a different appearance (shaker, decals, wing, other things here and there) but what we also got is a bit of a standout in a parking lot. In the past 6 mos I have seen 2 other machs in tucson. A supercharger can be added, but the snake logo just doesn't attract the same attention as the shaker..... (mostly because many don't know what they are looking at, as mentioned above, but everyone has heard of the cobra)
Being a vert fan...that one is tough but I got the gt for topless fun....
