My wife is Italian and I often joke with her about the "mafia switch" trunk release. Of course, I can barely fit anyting in my trunk. I think the trunk and backseat are merely for show in Mustangs.

It's more of a low moaning sound, but it happens when I drive slowly (less than 10 mph), especially on turns, and only after the car has warmed up. Whatever they did has improved it, but it is still there on occasion.
