PI heads and intake

I just purchased Pi heads and intake off a 2000 GT!! Does anyone know how much a shop charges to do the swap? Should I go to the Ford dealership?

FYI you will need more than just the heads and intake to do the swap. You'll need new gaskets, a '99+ water hose, alternator bracket, oil dipstick tube, and new head bolts because Ford uses TTY bolts on the 4.6 engines. I may have overlooked a part or 2, but for the most part this is what you need.

One more thing, if you didn't get the valve covers with the heads I believe you will need new valve covers because the 2000 GT's have Windsor heads which aren't compatible with your '98 valve covers.

ok, hes pretty much right, but u dont need the alternator bracket, right now my car has no dipstick, im wondering if the ones on the newer models are easier to put in b/c mine has to run through the exhaust manifold. and yeah ur gonna need valve covers
