I have this "clunk" too, when parking when I turn really sharp i hear a pop pop pop. Where is the sway bar? I just need to tighten some bolts that may be loose?

hey, it sounds more like you might not have tire clearance ot tire rubbage goin on... but jack the rear of your car up, notice the rear end, there should be about a 1" thick bar going from left to right in front of the rear(if you are looking at it from the back of the car)...Follow where the bar leads to..there will be two bolts on each side going through welded nuts...Just tighten up the bolts...idk if it will work for you but that is where I found my problem...prolly shimmy'd loose over the years...
I dont see why I would have tire clearance problems, being the stock size tire (245/45/17), but maybe there was some defect? But thanks anyway, I'll check that out.

Hmmm..... I can move my sway bar but just barely with my hand....probobly less than a centimeter in fact....but who knows with the weight of the car....but omg it feels like its just winding up and letting go when i slow corner....its driving me nuts. why cant i just get rear ended so I can just buy a whole new back axle.
