Default RE: underdrive pulleys

I have them, I dont know all the technicalities about them, but a previous owner put them in, and I have no problems with over heating or anything. It just makes them lighter, and slows down the accessories a little, or makes them more efficient. I don't have any electrical or heat problems at all. Not much of a difference.

It does free up about 10 more horse power. Some people complain about over time your car runs hotter and your battery doesn't hold as goos of a charge. A lot of people have them and very reputable companies make them so how bad can they really be? Just remember, you get what you pay for... It's the crank pulley, water pump pulley, and the alternator pulley.
