Default exhaust work, tech! help needed-

is it worth buying the GMS Ford 2V Coil Pack Kit before installing a s/c?

Also im currently running a o/r magnaflow x - 2 hiflo cats, w/ straight pipe back- in a few wks im installing some l/ts so the shop will be swapping the x with a shorty x with cats, if i get a catback would that fill in the blank for the straight pipe back?? also im better off with an x right, ive never owned an h pipe. there hasnt been any new findings making the H more reputable right?

I have heard nothing good about the GMS coil packs.

I would suggest getting a catback because with longtubes with with no mufflers will sound like crap, loud but sound like crap.

Xpipe has a raspy sound and the Hpipe has a muscle car sound you choose.

the X verses H debate is more a matter of personal taste if you ask me. i agree with oxford, please put some mufflerd on that thing, it'll sound like crap unless you're running a turbo

+1 My X-pipe is far from raspy. Here's a link to a sound clip of mine.

NO it's not there crap! Hard to tune. If you have a tunner worth anything they'd tell you the same thing.... Either convert to NPI Coil packs or stick with what you got.
