There IS definately a speed limiter and on an 02 GT it is set at 150MPH. Before I put in my 3:73s I was able to hit it on a long straight deserted highway on a cool nite. Its just like the rev limiter cuts out ignition not fuel or solanoid, it can be raised with aftermarket programmers like predator etc. I did it but cant hit it anymore with 3;73.
