ebrake handle and interior noise
I know there was a post earlier about a rattling noise in some dashboards. I had (or so I thought) the same noise, until lastnight I realized it was the little button and parts inside the e brake handle. As soon as I touched or held the button on the ebrake handle the annoying and loud rattling noise went away (Im so happy, it was EXTREMELY annoying). My quesiton is does anyone know of a way to fix it without jerry-rigging it? I mean I could put a piece of tape over the button but then Id be one step closer to calling pimp my ride...

Dude. I have the same problem. Slip a litle folded over peice of paper in the button slot down out of sight. Works like a charm. My gf's focus rattles in the dash. Now that bugs the crap out of me. And chevys are 100000 times worse on interior crap. Ive owned 2 chevy's and they litterally start to fall apart as you're pulling out of the lot. . . .
