So my car failed inspection due to my clear corners. I need to get new ones that are DOT approved. I can get clear ones that are DOT approved, or should I go with some black ones? Since my car is black I think the blacks ones might look good?

Do they say DOT approved on them? BEcuase if they do I would take em back and be like HEY! they are legal

Did you have an amber bulb and still failed? I need to check my new clears and see if they say DOT...my old clears passed a couple times so maybe i was just lucky.

Thats the biggest load of bull ****!!!!! If your car has amber bulbs itll still pass. Chevy trucks come standard with clear lenses and amber bulbs. I put clear bulbs in my clear corner lenses and the cops still dont say anything about it on the stang. Thats BS all that is required is for you to have amber bulbs. Not amber lenses!

yea the're ******** here in Northern Va. It passed last year but this year I guess the're crackin down. And yes I do have amber bulbs in....so anyways....black or clear????
