Stock Grill Removal
Ok, just got my new grill delete in. I'm trying to get the stock grill off...the four plastic screws in the top aren't coming without a fight. They are just spinning inside the clips that they screw into. I don't see any way to get to the clips to hold them in place.
What if I just cut or drill them off? They're plastic, that shouldn't be too hard. I won't need them for the delete install, will I? Note that my delete didn't come with any hardware at all...

RE: Stock Grill Removal
For some reason I'm not exactly understanding which ones you're talking about. The top plastic ones are able to be popped out once unscrewed a bit. You can use a finger and try to pull upward on the screw part as you turn it to help.
Here's a link with info on the install. click me

The first screw popped out just as it should, but the other three aren't...[:@] They're not moving. I even slide a knife blade under one while turning it and it won't budge. [:@][:@] And this is supposed to be the easy part of the process...

Ok, I'm back...the link I put in my first reply to the thread should give you answers to most questions. Although part of it will just be confusing (the part about screwing in the bottom of the new grill. Most people don't do that and then they have a small gap between the bumper and the grill. I went ahead and did this guys method and my grill delete kit is in there solid. It was a pain in the *** though, lol.

RE: Stock Grill Removal
I'm done I didn't screw/bolt the bottom piece in, well except for the top clips on the ends. I used a couple of strips of double sided tape, I'll see how that does.
I used a couple of the bolts from the stock grill to bolt on the pony, I think those bolts are a bit too small, as the pony will slide back and forth if you wiggle it. But, it isn't gonna fall off, so I'll get some better bolts to throw in there later.
Thanks for the help
