Your gonna get a deeper sound with a lil more rasp on your exhaust tone. It shouldnt be bad at all... some pop when you decelerate, but I actually like that tho. Why don't you just save up some more and get the catback and midpipe at the same time? It would really help opening your car up alot.

well i thought about getting just the mid pipe first to see how loud it would be. i cant stand exhausts with a low drone to them. so i figured maybe a mid pipe would give off the drone that some cat backs do.

I had flowmaster two chambers first on my 01 gt then put a o/r prochamber on it it sounds really good with the prochamber and it actually cackels less once the prochamber was put on. Highly recommend prochamber

How are the power gains with a prochamber? I have a 2.5" mac catback and I want it to sound even better so I've heard good things about a prochamber. I'm going to get cats. Besides a better sound, will it help out my performance a little bit?? Also I have stock headers, what size pipe would I need.

I don't know much about exhaust, but it is way closer to an H pipe than an X. There just a little chamber in the middle instead of another pipe connecting them, i think its bigger than a pipe, its more like a box. This is an old thread, but I just want to know if besides sound, it'll help out any flow? Thank you.
