I was wondering if any of you had tried the headlight mod to remove the yellow plastic pieces ? I want to do it but I dont want to fugg up my ****e.

how do you do it? i have the smoked headlights? idk mid01-04 i wanna say and i cant stand the yellow in them. let me know thanks

well u put them in the oven at 200 for like 10 mins - the glue separates and suposedly you can remove the yellow plastic tabs - I wanna talk to somebody whos done it before I do it - But yes I hate the yellow 2!

i also had slicks on and was coming outta the whole at 5000 rpm

that is more invovled - I saw one where you could slightly heat the unit and the glue that binds the out and inner plastic becomes loose - then when your done - heat it again and press it together - ever seen that one?

Can you completely remove the plastic off of the assembly to clean the inside of it? My driver's side headlight is fogged up with moisture and it looks like crap. Any suggestions?
