what do you suggest? suspension wise

Did you spin? Did the car bog? Did the engine just pull. If the answers are no, no, yes, then you're on the right track. You should still be able to get the clutch out fairly quickly without spinning/bogging. Your suspension will play a large part in your launches. One Mustang mag took a '99 GT and got it into the low 13's with just suspension changes. They hit the 12's with some weight reduction. All with a stock engine with a K&N air filter.

You bogged the engine.
Spinning (in a normal amount) > Bogging
A 2.3 60' leaves UNBELIEAVABLE amounts of time on the table
DR's + a nice launch = 14.0 with EASE

I ran the slow time of 14.659@97.24 mph. I could not keep it from spinning when I hit second. The humidity was at 84%. Elevation is 1002ft. DO I need to short shift going into second for better numbers?
I was up at new england dragway in Epping, NH last night running my car for the first time. My best time was 14.7@98.4 mph. I was having the same problem with spinning. I think everyone was having problems hooking. There were new z06s running 13.8s! almost every 1 was spinning that night. I had a best reaction time of .015 and spun all the way through my 60' which was 2.4! i kno my car is capable of 14s if not 13.9. I have bassani catted x, flomaster muffs, 3inch tips, cold air intake, 75mm tb, upper intake plenum, mgw short throw shifter, and a king cobra clutch.

My best time with my NPI was 15.7 with 3 diffent drivers. Haven't had my PI to the track yet... Hopefully before the end of the year I'll be able to get back to the track.
