That Eclipse will have it's @$$ handed to it. That car will be no problem for a GT. I agree w/telling the salesman to put his $ where is mouth is. Even suggest that if he's so confident to wager say about 2 free oil changes ora car cover or something ya know...just to make it interesting.

what year is the eclipse? if it's a 2000+ GTS you'll stomp it, 3rd gen eclipses are pieces of s**t</P>
a 99 GS-T versus a stock Mustang GT would make for a fun race (my brother has a GS-T and when it was stock we would race all over)</P>

Yea , it's an 03 eclipse gts with the dual fart pipes the whole system though not just the mufflers and new intake. I was 99.9% sure that I'd crush it , but i wasnt sure just for the hp to weight and those eclipse's can be pretty quick ( my sister had a gs 4cyl with about 5 grand into the engine it was a pretty good race till i hit third)

Well we went today after ofcoarse I cleaned her car b/c she doesnt pay attention to deatil as well as I. We couldn't take my car just for the pure fact of she is trading hers in so they said bring hers down , and they will see from the looks of it what she'll get for it. We go down there , and the salesmen "just found out" that they were closing at 5:00 instead of six, we were there at 5:30 ( I like this guy now just for staying after hours) I told him about how she wants proof of is this eclipse really faster , He actually studdered and said "wwweeelll umm sssirr I can't just take a car out to rrraace you , It's against our policy". I just kinda grinned and said oh ok didn't want to have to show up my sister first day with the car either bud. Saturday is the big date we go to test drive and suchI believe.
