i just changed my oil in my mach 1 and put 6 bottles of oil in the engine and the dipstick does not read anything??? not sure why but is 6 bottles enough???? all help appreciated !!

those dip sticks are a lil screwy, i hav 6 quarts in mine but you can put 6.5 in.

interesting....i'm wondering if you have an aftermarket
oil pan (larger capacity)...

I just changed my oil too. I put 6 qts in and read barely. Put another .5 qt and its where it needs to be. The manual says 6 qts +/- .25, but i think that it wrong if you go by the dipstick. Stick with 6.5 qts and you should be good.
