Wheel Spacers?

I've read that wheel spacers do add more stress on rear wheel bearings, but I have no experience with spacers first hand. I'm pretty sure some Porsche models came with them stock. I think I'm going to go ahead and get some good quality 1"(25mm) spacers, such as H&R's. I'm tired of having my front wheels stick out further than my rears.

I have 2" spacers they look great - no problems - i bought the good ones on ebay
